No, it's not 'for the birds',.. It's just the perfect bowl of oatmeal, for me (Bird). :) Ingredients:
1/4 cup rolled oats |
1/2 cup 2% low-fat milk |
1/8 teaspoon kosher salt |
1 tablespoon light brown sugar |
1 teaspoon butter |
Directions:
1. In small saucepan bring oats, milk, water, and salt to a simmer. Set timer for 4 minutes and continue simmering, stirring occasionally. 2. After 4 minutes, stir in brown sugar and butter. Simmer 2 more minutes. Perfect. |
