I'd been wanting to try biltong since I read about it in A Far Off Place , but I'm not much of a meateater so I thought I'd try this recipe from Woolworth's. Ingredients:
1 cucumber |
1 avocado |
1 large yellow pepper |
2 roma tomatoes |
16 ounces spinach leaves |
7 1/2 ounces biltong |
watercress, for garnish |
Directions:
1. Slice all ingredients except for the spinach leaves. 2. Toss together and garnish with watercress. 3. Tastes wonderful with a Sweet Onion dressing. |
