Use beef, deer, or a mix of both meats Ingredients:
1 large white onion, finely chopped |
1 large red onion, coarsely chopped |
2 lb beef, coarsely ground |
1 tsp chili powder |
1 tsp cumin |
4 garlic cloves, minced |
2 green peppers, finely diced |
30 ounce diced tomatoes, with fluid |
2 cups (2 15 ounce cans) kidney beans, rinsed and drained |
2 cups (2 15 ounce cans) pinto beans, rinsed and drained |
15 ounce tomato sauce |
4 roma tomatoes (under ripe), coarsely chopped |
2 teaspoons cumin |
1/2 teaspoon red pepper |
2 teaspoons salt |
3 tablespoons chili powder |
2 teaspoons basil |
2 jalapeƱo peppers, finely chopped |
3 stalks celery, strings removed and finely chopped |
Directions:
1. Brown meat with cumin & chili powder sprinkled over while cooking 2. Combine all in crock pot and turn pot to low for 8-10 hours |
