Requires 12-24 hour advance preparation. Bless This Food: The Anita Bryant Family Cookbook. Ingredients:
1 head lettuce, broken up with fingers |
1 head cauliflower, cut up in flowerets |
1 sweet onion, sliced |
1 lb bacon, fried crisp, then broken up |
2 cups salad dressing |
1/3 cup parmesan cheese |
1/4 cup sugar |
Directions:
1. Using large plastic bowl with a tight cover, put in ingredients in layers as they are listed. Seal tight. Put in refrigerator overnight. Toss just before serving. If you want to use part of this salad, dip straight down and put in another bowl to mix. Be sure you give it at least 12 hours so the topping gets crunchy. |
