20 whole dried chilies |
1/2 tsp. shrimp paste |
3 med garlic cloves |
1/5 c tamarind juice |
1/2 piece turmeric |
2 tsp oil |
1/2 salt |
2 med onion, chopped |
5 bilimbi sliced |
2 tsp sugar |
1 piece ginger |
Directions:
1. -soak dried chillies in water for an hour. drain and wash 2. -blend chillies with all ingredient except bilimbi and onion 3. -heat oil in saucepan 4. -fry onion till' soft 5. -pour in blended ingredients 6. -cook 20 min on low 7. -add salt, tamarind juice, and sugar 8. -add bilimbi and cook for 10 min 9. -serve with rice or as dipping sauce |
