BIG TACO SALAD FOR A CROWD This recipe came from an estate sale. I obtained it when I purchased the family collection from the O’Hare Estate in Sachse, Texas in 1994. Ingredients:
3 pounds ground beef |
3 envelopes taco seasoning |
3 heads lettuce shredded |
3 cups shredded cheddar cheese |
3 cups chopped tomatoes |
2 cups chopped red onion |
3 cans chopped ripe olives drained |
2 cans ranch style beans drained |
1 large bag corn chips |
16 ounce bottle catalina salad dressing |
12 ounce jar chunky salsa |
Directions:
1. Brown beef and drain well then add taco seasoning and prepare according to package. 2. Cool completely then toss with remaining ingredients in a large container. |
