Gluten and dairy free! From Cookies recipe book. Ingredients:
2 egg whites |
1 tsp almond extract |
1 cup ground almonds |
1 cup light brown sugar |
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees and line baking sheet with baking parchment. 2. Whisk egg whites in large bowl until they form stiff peaks. 3. Add almond extract to egg whites and whisk to combine. 4. Gently fold in the brown sugar and almonds using a large metal spoon. 5. Place nine spoonfuls on baking parchment far apart and flatten slightly. 6. Bake for 15 minutes until risen, deep golden, and beginning to turn crisp. 7. Leave on sheet for 5 minutes and then transfer to rack for cooling. |
