Sticky and yummy, not a quick one as bread has to thaw then rise, after that it is and it is worth the wait! Ingredients:
1-1/2 cups light brown sugar, packed |
1/2 cup (1 stick) butter, melted |
1/2 cup whipping cream |
1 loaf frozen bread dough, thawed |
1/4 cup sugar |
1 tablespoon ground cinnamon |
Directions:
1. Combine the brown sugar, melted butter and cream in the baking dish and spread evenly in the bottom of the pan. 2. Roll the bread dough into a 12x16 inch rectangle. 3. In a small bowl or plastic bag, combine the sugar a cinnamon and sprinkle over the top of the rolled out dough. 4. Roll into a long jelly roll and cut into 6 rolls (12 if you want smaller servings). 5. Place the rolls over the brown sugar mixture. 6. Cover loosely with a kitchen towel and set in a warm place to double in size, about 30 to 40 minutes. 7. When ready, bake in a preheated 350-degree oven for about 45 minutes or until brown on top. Invert onto a platter and serve. |
