Got this recipe from Better Homes And Gardens. The lemon zest and sun dried tomato combine to produce a different and really flavorful burger. One of our favorites! Ingredients:
1 lb lean ground beef (we like ground round) |
1 tablespoon oil packed sun-dried tomato, finely minced |
1 teaspoon lemon zest |
1/2 teaspoon salt |
1/4 teaspoon pepper |
2 tablespoons fresh basil, coarsely chopped (optional) |
1 cup spinach leaves, whole |
4 hamburger buns, lightly toasted |
Directions:
1. In a medium bowl, lightly combine first 5 ingredients. 2. Form into 4 patties. 3. Grill to desired doneness. 4. Place on buns and top with spinich leaves, basil (if using), and desired condiments. 5. Great served with a cold beer (isn't everything?). |
