This sassy sauce makes a great accompaniment to all manner of meats, but is particularly brilliant with crispy crab bhajias. Ingredients:
1 small fresh coconut |
1 mango, unripe, sliced |
5 green chilies, chopped |
1/2 green pepper, chopped |
1 small onion, chopped |
2 garlic cloves, finely chopped |
1 lime, juice of (optional) |
1 pinch salt |
Directions:
1. Grate the coconut meat and place in a liquidizer with the remaining ingredients. Blend until smooth, adding a little water if the mixture seems too thick. 2. Season to taste with salt and freshly ground black pepper and serve immediately. |
