Using the microwave makes this so simple and takes the guess work out of testing the temp on fudge Ingredients:
3 cups sugar |
3/4 cup butter |
5 oz. can evaporated milk |
1 (12 oz.) bag of chocolate chips |
10 oz. jar of marshmallow creme |
1 cup chopped pecans or walnuts |
1 tsp. vanilla |
because quantity sizes of things have changed since i first cre |
ated this you may need to use different size can and jars of evap. milk and marshmallow creme. |
Directions:
1. Combine sugar, butter and evaporated milk in large buttered glass (3 quart or larger) bowl. Cover with plastic wrap. 2. Microwave 10 minutes on medium high 3. Stir 4. Recover and micro another 8 minutes - should now be at soft ball stage but micros vary 5. Fold in marshmallow creme, nuts, and vanilla 6. Fold in fast bcause it sets up very quickly 7. Pour into 9 x 13 inch pan 8. Chill 9. Cut into squares |
