A great coffee cake that does not require any special ingredients you would have to run to the store for-every ingredient should be a pantry staple. This coffee cake is easy to make, plus moist and rich with with a simple cinnamon topping. Ingredients:
1/2 cup vegetable oil |
2 eggs |
1 cup milk |
3 cups flour |
1 1/2 cups sugar |
4 teaspoons baking powder |
1 teaspoon salt |
3/4 cup brown sugar |
1 -2 teaspoon cinnamon |
3 tablespoons melted butter |
1 cup chopped nuts (i left them out) (optional) |
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 350. 2. Combine oil, eggs and milk in a medium bowl. Mix dry ingredients in large bowl. 3. Mix wet ingredients into the flour mixture until combined. 4. Spread batter into a sprayed 9 x 13 baking pan. Combine topping ingredients and sprinkle over batter. 5. Bake for 35 minutes. Let cool about 15 minutes before eating. |
