Better Than Mom's Pot Roast |

I stumbled across this recipe in a crock pot magazine and now I won't make pot roast any other way. Ingredients:
4 -5 lbs beef roast |
2 cups beef broth |
2 cups ketchup |
1/2 cup cider vinegar |
2 medium onions, chopped |
2 garlic cloves, minced |
6 tablespoons brown sugar |
5 carrots, chopped |
5 celery ribs, chopped |
Directions:
1. Season both sides of roast with salt and pepper. 2. Combine broth, ketchup, vinegar, onions, garlic, and sugar in slow cooker. 3. Add roast and top with carrots and celery. 4. Cover and cook on low for 8 hours, until meat is tender. |
