So moist and flavorful, your going to love this one. Not sure who named this one, but it is very good. Hope you enjoy. Prep time does not include waiting time. Ingredients:
1 duncan hines coconut supreme cake mix |
1 15 oz can crushed pineapple (undrained) |
1/2 cup ganulated sugar |
1 can sweetened condensed milk |
1 8 0z. pkg. cream cheese |
1 sm. container cool whip |
1 tsp vanilla extract |
1 cup chopped pecans |
1 cup sweetened coconut flakes |
Directions:
1. Mix cake mix according to pkg directions in a 9 x 13 baking pan. Poke holes all over cake with fork. Pour and spread can of sweetened condensed milk all over warm cake.
2. Mix undrained crushed pineapple and sugar in a 2 qt. boiler over med heat stirring constantly bring to boil and let boil 1 minute,then pour that over the cake.Let cool and refrigerate overnight.
3. Next day cream the cream cheese add the vanilla and cool whip mix well and frost cake.Distribute the coconut flakes then chopped pecans over that. Keep refrigerated.
