Better Crock Pot Macaroni and Cheese

The noodles cook in the slow cooker, so just add all the ingredients, set crock pot to low, and cook for at least 4 hours. This is adapted from One-Pot Macaroni and Cheese found at Tip Garden.
Ingredients:
12 ounces sharp cheddar cheese, shredded (3 cups)
2 (12 ounce) cans evaporated milk
2 eggs
2 teaspoons salt
1/2 teaspoon pepper
4 cups elbow macaroni
2 (10 1/2 ounce) cans cream of mushroom soup
1 1/2 cups water
Directions:
1. Shred the cheese; should equal 3 cups when shredded.
2. Mix all ingredients in slow cooker, including the uncooked elbow macaroni. Cook on low for 4 hours.
3. Sometimes we add potato chips as topping, or French fried onions, or croutons, just something to add a bit of crunch.
