These mouth watering biscuits are better than the biscuits you get at popular restaurants. They are flaky, cheesy, and addicting! Ingredients:
2 1/2 cups baking mix |
3/4 cup cold milk |
4 tablespoons cold butter |
1/4 teaspoon garlic powder |
1 -1 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese |
1/4 teaspoon dried parsley |
1/8 teaspoon garlic powder |
2 tablespoons melted butter |
1 pinch salt |
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees. 2. Put baking mix in large bowl and use a large fork or pastry cutter to incorporate cold butter into mix ( you want pea size balls of butter throughout the mixture.) 3. Add cheddar cheese and 1/4 Tsp garlic powder and mix by hand until combined (Being careful not to mush the butter or cheese too much). 4. Drop by 1/4 cup portions on ungreased cookie sheet and bake for 15-17 minutes until light brown. 5. Melt 2Tbs butter in the microwave with 1/8 Tsp garlic powder and 1/4 Tsp dried parsley flakes and a pinch of salt and brush onto the cooked biscuits. |
