Beth's Egg Sausate Souffle Casserole |

Overnight brunch casserole Ingredients:
1 1/2 lbs sausage |
1/2 lb cheddar cheese |
3 cups french bread |
5 tablespoons butter |
3 tablespoons flour |
1 teaspoon dry mustard |
4 eggs |
3 cups milk |
green onion (1-2 green onions, just the green part) |
Directions:
1. Brown and crumble sausage. 2. Spread into buttered 9x13 dish. 3. Sprinkle on grated cheese. 4. Spread cubed bread on top. 5. Pour melted 3 T melted butter over bread. 6. Mix flour and dry mustard and sprinkle on top of butter soaked bread. 7. Beat eggs, milk, chopped green onions and pour over other ingredients. 8. Allow to sit overnight. 9. Best to rest 30 minutes or up to an hour before baking the next morning. 10. Brush with an additional 2T melted butter. 11. Bake at 350 degrees uncovered for one hour. |
