I do not like yams at all. Got this recipe on TV. I can't wait for Thanksgiving so I can have them. Yum Ingredients:
1 yam, between 3/4 # to 2 |
1 teaspoon olive oil |
1/2 cup heavy cream |
1/4 cup bourban whiskey |
3 tablespoons molasses |
1/8 teaspoon salt |
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 350°F. 2. Place yam on foiled line sheet. Bake til tender and it begins to ooze syrup. About 45 minutes or so. Cool enough to handle. Skin and put in a mixing bowl. Add all the ingredients. Mix with a hand mixer. Cover and gently heat. |
