From Eat To Live, called Chocolate Smoothie. I made some minor changes here but it is simply a delicious way to start your day off on the right foot. I make this EVERY morning. Ingredients:
1 cup spinach, raw, baby, and organic if possible |
1 medium banana, frozen if possible, broken into fourths |
1 cup frozen blueberries |
1 tablespoon flax seed, ground |
1 tablespoon cocoa powder |
1 cup almond milk, soy milk ok too |
1/2 cup water (optional) |
Directions:
1. Put in blender in order listed above, packing down spinach. Depending on how much power your blender has, add water if needed. If you don't like it ice-cold, don't freeze your bananas. |
