I like this recipe mainly for its delicious taste, but also because it is very easy and quick to prepare. The filling is ample so use a 9-in. pie pan. The preparation time I designated does not include making your own crust. Ingredients:
4 ounces cream cheese |
1 tablespoon milk |
1 tablespoon sugar |
1 (8 ounce) container whipped topping |
graham cracker crust |
1 cup milk |
1 (8 ounce) can pumpkin |
2 (4 ounce) packages jello instant vanilla pudding |
1 teaspoon cinnamon |
1/2 teaspoon ginger |
1/4 teaspoon clove |
1/4 cup brown sugar |
Directions:
1. Stir the cream cheese, 1 tablespoon milk and sugar together. Fold in half of the whipped topping. Spread in the baked crust. 2. Pour 1 cup milk in a bowl. Add pumpkin, pudding, brown sugar and spices. 3. Beat 2 minutes. Spread over cream cheese layer. Top with remaining whipped topping. 4. Refrigerate 4 hours. |
