This is my moms recipe. I loved it as a kid and make it for my family too. Ingredients:
1 lb ground beef |
1 onion |
1 garlic clove |
1 egg |
6 tablespoons ketchup |
salt & pepper |
1 egg for egg wash |
saltine crackers |
Directions:
1. mix the first 5 ingredients in a medium bowl. 2. shape into tablespoon size balls. 3. beat the extra egg for egg wash. 4. crush the crackers. 5. Roll each ball in the egg wash, then the crackers. 6. Fry in butter or peanut oil. |
