A recipe I started making way back in the fifties. Ingredients:
2/3 cup evaporated milk |
1/2 teaspoon salt |
1 2/3 cups granulated sugar |
1 1/2 cups miniature marshmallows |
1 1/2 cups chocolate chips |
1 teaspoon vanilla |
1/2 cup nuts, chopped |
Directions:
1. Mix together milk sugar and salt in a saucepan. Bring to a boil over Medium heat and cook for 5 minutes stirring constantly. 2. Remove from heat. 3. Add marshmallows, chocolate chips and stir until melted. 4. Add vanilla and nuts. 5. Pour in buttered 9” pan. 6. Cool and cut into squares. |
