Best Ever Roquefort Apples |

This recipe came from an estate sale. I obtained it when I purchased the family collection from the Patrick Estate in Canton, Texas in 1981. Ingredients:
4 medium red apples |
1 tablespoon lemon juice |
1-1/2 ounces crumbled roquefort cheese |
1/4 cup french dressing |
1/4 cup chopped walnuts |
2 tablespoons seedless raisins |
Directions:
1. Cut slice from top of each apple and reserve. 2. Remove cores and scoop out pulp leaving 1/4 shells. 3. Brush shells with lemon juice. 4. Dice apple pulp then combine diced apple with remaining ingredients and toss lightly. 5. Fill apple shells with mixture then replace apple tops. |
