A great and simple pie crust recipe Ingredients:
2 cups all-purpose flour |
1 cup vegetable shortening |
1 teaspoon salt |
1/2 cup water, or a little less |
Directions:
1. Cut shortening into flour and salt until dough appears crumbly. 2. Add water a little at a time, until it can be gathered into a ball. 3. Roll out dough on a floured counter. 4. Don't overwork it. 5. Use as directed in pie recipe. 6. It will be very flaky. |
