This recipe is kind of unusual for an egg bake, but, it is the best egg bake I have ever tasted !!! Ingredients:
4 1/2 cups rice krispies |
21 1/2 ounces cream of celery soup |
16 ounces sausage, browned |
1 onion, chopped |
1/2 cup cooked rice |
3 cups shredded cheddar cheese |
6 eggs, beaten |
Directions:
1. Mix all ingredients together - EXCEPT the rice krispies, leave them out for now. grease or spray the bottom of a 9x13 cake pan. cover and place in the refridgeator over night. in the morning stir in rice krispies cover with foil and bake at 350 for one hour, rmove the foil and continue to bake until top is browned. 2. ***Note - use 1/3 of a cup of raw white rice- and cook it and add it to the recipe above. |
