This sauce is very forgiving and heats repeatedly in the microwave without losing quality. It can be prepared in under 30 minutes. Quick and delicious, what more could you want......try it over fresh strawberries & whipped cream or over my favorite – coffee ice cream. Ingredients:
1/2 cup cocoa |
1 cup sugar |
1 cup light corn syrup |
1/2 cup half-and-half cream |
3 tablespoons butter |
1/4 teaspoon salt |
1 teaspoon vanilla |
Directions:
1. Put all ingredients except vanilla into saucepan.
2. Whisk thoroughly and slowly bring to a boil.
3. Simmer 10 minutes, stirring periodically.
4. Remove from heat and stir in vanilla.
