My wife LOVES Cheesecake...(don't read anything into that!) LOL!!! I don't recall where I got this recipe, but of all the ones I've made, THIS is her #1 favorite...I hope you'll enjoy it & it is SO simple to make! (Time does NOT include chilling overnight.) Ingredients:
2 cups vanilla wafers, crushed |
1/4 cup butter, melted |
1/4 teaspoon nutmeg |
1/4 teaspoon cinnamon |
1 tablespoon sugar |
3 (8 ounce) packages cream cheese |
1 (14 ounce) can sweetened condensed milk |
4 eggs |
1 (8 ounce) container sour cream |
1 tablespoon vanilla |
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 350. 2. For the bottom - 3. Combine butter, spices & cracker crumbs in a bowl with your hands. Flatten out in the bottom of a 10 Springform Pan - set aside. 4. For the filling - 5. In a large bowl, beat softened cream cheese, until smooth. Beat in the sweetened condensed milk, until combined, well. Add the eggs one at a time & then the sour cream & vanilla & beat until very smooth. 6. Carefully pour the mixture into the springform pan. 7. Bake for 45-55 minutes. Let stand, to cool & then refrigerate. Best served if chilled overnight. 8. Top with your favorite fruit topping. 9. ENJOY! |
