This is the easiest, most fool proof recipe I have ever found for banana bread! The sour cream keeps it moist, and my kids love it! Can be made into muffins as well! Ingredients:
2 cups sugar |
1 cup butter |
4 eggs |
4 mashed bananas |
1 cup sour cream |
4 cups flour |
2 tsp baking soda |
1/2 tsp salt |
1 tsp vanilla |
1 cup chopped nuts, optional |
Directions:
1. Cream butter with sugar. 2. Beat in eggs and mix until fluffy. 3. Sift flour with baking soda and salt, then add to egg mixture. 4. Stir in mashed bananas, sour cream and vanilla. 5. Pour into greased bread pans. Let stand 10 minutes. Bake at 325 degrees for 30-45 minutes. |
