I found this recipe a couple years ago in the Ex-boyfriend Cookbook and every time I've made it, I've gotten rave reviews. It's such a simple dish, but it's so good! Ingredients:
1 cup butter |
2 cups sugar |
2 cups flour |
1 teaspoon salt |
3 eggs |
1 teaspoon vanilla extract |
8 ounces sour cream |
1 cup pecans, chopped |
2 teaspoons cinnamon |
3 tablespoons brown sugar |
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 325. 2. Cream butter and sugar together. 3. Sift in dry ingredients, alternating with the eggs. 4. Mix batter thouroughly with hand mixer on low speed, then add vanilla and sour cream. 5. Pour half of the batter into a well-greased bundt pan, then add half of the filling and then the rest of the batter. 6. Top with remaining filling. 7. Bake for 65-70 minutes. |
