Healthy easy to make bran muffins, can make batch and freeze for convenience! Ingredients:
1 15 oz box of bran flakes |
1 qt buttermilk |
1cu veg oil |
1cu sugar |
4 beaten eggs |
5 cu flour |
1 tsp salt |
5 tsp baking soda |
optional ingredients; raisins, apple, carrot, zucchini |
Directions:
1. Blend first five ingredients together w/ eggs 2. add to the flour ,salt , soda 3. mix together cover and refrigerate for 6 hours 4. bake at 375 for 20-25 minutes 5. batter will keep for two weeks in fridge if you don't add your extras until time to bake. |
