Any substitutes for the butter will not do these justice! Ingredients: flour baking powder salt sugar egg, lowfat milk salted butter, flour blueberries, fresh or frozen cvt Ingredients:
1 3/4 cup flour |
1 tbsp davis baking powder |
1/2 tsp salt |
1/4 cup sugar |
1 egg, slightly beaten |
1 cup lowfat milk |
1/4 cup salted butter, melted |
1/4 cup flour |
1 cup blueberries, fresh or frozen, thawed and drained |
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 375 F. Butter muffin tins for 12 muffins. Mix flour, baking powder, salt and sugar in a large bowl. Add the egg, milk and butter, mixing lightly. Coat blueberries with the 1/4 cup of flour then add. Stir till flour mixture is dampened. Spoon into muffin tins, filling 2/3 full. Bake for 20-25 minutes. |
