Best Banana Bread Ever

Notes: Cool on a rack if you can keep the family away from it long enough to cool. This bread is excellent toasted, and with or without the nuts. Frozen and thawed bananas are great for this bread. One time I accidentally left out the sugar and it was still delicious.
Ingredients:
4 t butter, soft
3/4 c granulated sugar
3/4 cup brown sugar
2 eggs
4 cups bananas, very ripe (about 10) mashed
4 cups flour
7 teaspoons baking powder
2 teaspoons salt
1 cup nuts chopped and toasted
Directions:
1. Beat butter and sugars until smooth. Add eggs and beat in. Then add bananas a cup at a time. Set aside. Sift or stir dry ingredients together and add to sugar mixture 1 cup at a time. Add nuts last. I like to use walnuts, but pecans are good, also. Pour into 2 9-inch bread pans that have been sprayed with Pam. Bake at 350 degrees for an hour (maybe longer, but when crack appears on top, they are most likely getting close to being done.)
