These were the best tacos i ever ate in my life.was pot roast,grated cheddar cheese and corn tortillas.course they fried corn tortillas,you can eliminate this if you want prepared shells,and can eliminate cooking pot roast by buying it in a deli//.for home tacos i allways used hamburger and taco seasoning,these tacos are so much better and different=no seasoning needed,if you fry your corn tortillas ,you will get the taste i had in mexico city .but any way you do it you only need 3 ingredients. Ingredients:
2 cups seasoned pot roast |
1 dozen raw corn tortilla (or prepared shells) |
1 cup grated cheddar cheese |
chopped onion |
tomato |
chopped lettuce |
1/2 cup hot sauce, if desired |
Directions:
1. Put about 1/4 c pot roast in corn tortilla and fry about 2 min each side,as crisp or soft as you like. 2. put on paper towel and drain. 3. add grated cheese. 4. ready to eat=or add your favorite toppings/. |
