This is a great starter if grilling outside. To tame the hot, I usually put out a side of ranch dip or wasabi mayo. Ingredients:
12 large fresh shrimp |
6 whole pickled jalapenos (canned ones in mexican section of grocer) |
6 strips uncooked bacon |
12 toothpicks |
Directions:
1. Prepare grill 2. Soak toothpicks in bowl with water 3. Prep shrimp by taking shells off under cold water, set aside 4. Take each pickled jalapeno and cut into halves (should have 12 now) take seeds out 5. Cut bacon strips in half (end up with 12 strips) 6. Place shrimp on top of jalapeno 7. Wrap bacon around shrimp and jalapeno 8. Secure with toothpick 9. Place on grill and cook around 15 minutes or until bacon is crispy 10. Must keep turning kisses to ensure even cooking |
