Bert's Carrot Cake

My favourite carrot cake. ( I am posting the Cream Cheese Icing separately.)
Ingredients:
2 cups flour
2 teaspoons baking powder
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon salt
2 teaspoons cinnamon
4 eggs
2 cups sugar
1 cup corn oil
3 cups packed, grated carrots
Directions:
1. Preheat oven 325.
2. Grease 1 round Angel Food cake pan.
3. Sift together first 5 ingredients and set aside.
4. Beat 4 eggs til light.
5. Set aside.
6. Beat corn oil and gradually add sugar with mixer on high.
7. Gradually add eggs to oil and beat until fluffy.
8. Add dry ingredients and stir to mix well.
9. Add grated carrots.
10. If desired add raisins or nuts.
11. Mix well.
12. Pour into greased pan.
13. Bake 1 hour or til it is brown and top springs back.
14. Allow 20 minutes to cool before turning out of pan.
15. This is great with Creamed Cheese icing or just plain!
