We eat lots of fruit salad in the summer time around our house.I got this one from the Better Homes and Gardens Our Best Recipes cookbook. Ingredients:
1-20 oz. can pineapple chunks,drained |
2 c. fresh strawberries,halved |
2 c. seedless green grapes |
2 c. fresh blackberries |
1-4 serving size pkg. instant banana pudding |
1 1/4 c. milk |
1/2 c. sour cream |
1-8 oz. can crushed pineapple,undrained |
Directions:
1. I a 2 qt. clear glass bowl layer pineapple chunks,strawberries,grapes and blackberries; set aside. 2. In a medium bowl whisk together dry pudding mix,milk and sour cream. 3. Stir in undrained crushed pineapple. 4. Pour over the layered fruit. 5. Cover and chill for at least 2 hours but no longer than 8 hours. |
