Berry Delicious Cream of Wheat |

You may substitute blueberries, blackberries, strawberries or huckleberries. This came from Recipes For Life After Weight-Loss Surgery. I have not tried this just posting for safe keeping. Ingredients:
3/4 cup instant cream of wheat |
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract |
1/2 cup fresh raspberry |
2 tablespoons protein powder |
2 tablespoons nonfat milk or 2 tablespoons soymilk |
2 sprigs spearmint |
Directions:
1. Prepare cream of wheat per the package instruction for 2 servings, adding the vanilla to the water before boiling. Just before removing the cream of wheat from the pan, stir in the raspberries. Add the protein powder just prior to serving. 2. Serve in warmed bowls, topped with the milk and garnished with fresh spearmint sprigs. |
