If the seeds are a concern, pour the blended smoothie through a strainer before serving. I have not tried this smoothie. I'm posting this for safe keeping. I found this recipe in Scholastic Parent & Child magazine. Ingredients:
1/2 cup fresh berries |
1 small ripe banana, cut into chunks |
3 tablespoons strawberry yogurt |
2 teaspoons honey |
1/4 cup cold milk |
Directions:
1. If using frozen fruits, allow them to thaw for 20 minutes. 2. Put the berries, banana, yogurt, and honey into a blender and blend for 1-2 minutes, until smoothie. 3. Add the milk and blend again until frothy. 4. Pour into a glass and serve. |
