I found this recipe on a coupon for Eagle Brand Sweetened Condensed Milk. It's quick to make and so yummy. And obviously any Sweetened Condensed Milk works. It's tart from the lemon juice and sweet from the berries. I really enjoyed making this, it's a set it and forget it kind of dessert you can make at least a day before it's needed. Ingredients:
1 (14 ounce) can sweetened condensed milk |
1/2 cup lemon juice |
1 1/2-2 cups fresh berries (blueberries, raspberries, blackberries, etc.) |
1 (8 ounce) container cool whip, thawed |
1 (6 ounce) keebler ready crust pie crusts |
Directions:
1. In large bowl mix together sweetened condensed milk and lemon juice until well combined. 2. Mix in berries. 3. Fold in whipped topping. 4. Spoon into pie crust. 5. Freeze for 5 hours or until set. 6. Let Stand 30 minutes before serving. 7. Garnish as desired and freeze leftovers. |
