Berry-Banana Smoothie is a classic combo that's perfect for breakfast or a snack, and it's made even healthier with the addition of old-fashioned oats. Ingredients:
1/2 cup old-fashioned oats |
1 1/2 cups orange juice |
2 large, very ripe bananas, peeled and frozen |
1 cup frozen unsweetened strawberries or raspberries or a combination |
2 tablespoons honey |
1 cup ice |
Directions:
1. Pulse oats in a blender several times to grind. Add juice, bananas, berries, honey and ice; blend until smooth. |
