Everythime I go through my stacks of cookbooks and folders, I find a recipe that I loved and could not throw away. This is another one of those recipes. I got this out of a cookkbook from 25 years ago and still enjoy making this. Ingredients:
2 sheets phyllo pastry sheets (1 package) |
1 lb muenster cheese, grated |
2 eggs |
1/2 lb butter, melted |
Directions:
1. lay out three sheets of pasatry, brush on butter between layers. Cut into 5 strips. Place 2 Tbs of the cheese that has been mixed with the eggs, onto the end of each strip. Fold into a triangle. Brush on butter as you go. Place on cookie sheet and bake at 350 degrees for 15-20 minutes. These freeze well and can be baked frozen.
