So tasty, a bottle of red wine will not be enough! Originated in the Balkans Ingredients:
2 lbs pork loin |
1 onion |
3 cups water |
1/2 cup oil |
1/2 cup red wine |
2 bay leaves |
black pepper |
crushed red hot pepper |
salt |
Directions:
1. 1. Cut meat in cubes 1/2 to 1 . 2. 2. Put in a pot along with the water, oil, bay leaf, red and black peper. 3. 3. Cook till water is gone (check for tenderness if not soft add more water). 4. 4. When water is gone, stir for 5 min and add wine. 5. 5. When the wine is evaporated, add onions and stirr till golden. 6. 6. Serve hot with greens! 7. 7. Merlot at 18 deg C! |
