This is great to add to hamburgers or just serve on a plate next to any meat. Old time favourites from All about Pickling Book. Ingredients:
12 green peppers |
12 red peppers |
12 medium onions |
2 cups cider vinegar |
2 cups sugar |
3 tablespoons salt |
Directions:
1. Remove seeds and cores and chop all peppers finely. 2. Peel onions and chop finely 3. Cover with boiling water and let stand for 5 minutes. 4. Drain and add the vinegar, sugar and salt. 5. Pour into hot jars and seal. 6. Process 5 minutes. |
