This recipe is for Belgian Lukken cookies made in a Lukken iron (Lukijyer). You can also use an Italian Pizzelle maker which may be easier to find. Ingredients:
6 eggs |
1 lb butter |
2 lbs flour |
1 lb brown sugar |
2 tablespoons vanilla |
1 pinch salt |
1 1/2 ounces whiskey (optional) |
Directions:
1. Combine ingredients together in a large bowl to form a dough. 2. Roll into balls and place into the Lukken iron (Lukijyer) or Pizzelle iron until golden brown. |
