My favorite toppings are brown mustard and sauerkraut. Ingredients:
1 (12 ounce) can beer |
1/2 cup water |
1/4 cup butter |
1 tablespoon garlic powder |
1/2 teaspoon salt |
1/4 teaspoon pepper |
6 bratwursts, uncooked |
6 rolls |
Directions:
1. In a large saucepan combine beer, water, butter, garlic powder, salt and pepper. Add brats and bring to a boil, uncovered. Boil for 15 minutes. 2. Remove brats and discard cooking liquid. Grill brats directly over med-high grill for 15 minutes turning frequently until hot through. 3. Serve on buns with favorite toppings. |
