I don't remember where I got this recipe, but it's one that we have enjoyed a lot. The times do not include marinating time. Ingredients:
1 1/2 cups beer |
1 bunch green onion, sliced |
2 tablespoons olive oil |
1/3 cup reduced sodium soy sauce |
2 tablespoons honey or 2 tablespoons molasses |
1 tablespoon gingerroot, grated |
2 large garlic cloves, minced |
1/2 teaspoon tabasco sauce |
2 1/2 lbs flank steaks, well trimmed |
Directions:
1. Combine all ingredients except steak. 2. Add steak and marinate several hours or overnight in the refrigerator. 3. Drain and pat dry. 4. Grill over hot coals 3 to 4 minutes on each side for medium rare. 5. Cut across the grain on the diagonal into thin slices. |
