Ingredients:
1 small onion , chopped |
1/2 cup butter or margarine |
1 1/2 cups vinegar |
2 1/2 tablespoons worcestershire sauce |
grated rind and juice of 2 lemons |
1 clove garlic, minced |
3/4 cup beer |
Directions:
1. Sauté onion in butter in a medium saucepan until tender. Add vinegar, Worcestershire sauce, lemon rind and juice , and garlic; stir well. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat; simmer, uncovered, 15 minutes. Remove from heat; add beer, stirring well. Use sauce to baste pork during barbecue procedure. |
