This is another of my favoreite rice dishes. Goes great with meat and poultry and is tasty and savory. men love this recipe! Ingredients:
1 onion fine chopped |
1 cup slice mushrooms |
2 tbs butter |
1 cup raw rice |
10 oz. beef bouillon |
1 cup beer |
2 tbs oil |
few drops hot pepper sauce |
1/2 tsp dried thyme |
1/2 tsp salt |
1/4 tsp pepper |
Directions:
1. Saute onions and mushrooms in butter till soft but not browned 2. Place in a medium casserole dish 3. Add remaining ingrdients 4. Stir to blend 5. Cover and bake 350F for 45mins or liquid has absorbed. 6. Fluff with a fork. 7. Reheats well |
