This bread is so delicious! I love to cube this bread and use it for dunking into spinach and artichoke dip! Ingredients:
2 3/4 cups whole wheat flour |
2 tablespoons sugar |
2 tablespoons baking powder |
1/4 cup flax seed (ground) |
1 teaspoon salt |
1 teaspoon dried basil |
1 teaspoon dried rosemary |
1 teaspoon thyme |
1/2 cup unsalted sunflower seeds |
1 tablespoon cooking oil |
12 ounces beer, at room temperature |
Directions:
1. Mix all the dry ingredients. 2. Add oil and beer. 3. Stir until dough is just mixed. 4. Put dough in a greased 9x5x3-inch loaf pan. 5. Bake at 375 F for 45 minutes or until nicely browned. Remove from oven and let bread cool in pan for 10 minutes. Remove from pan to cool some more. |
