These biscuits are quite good. But please don't drive and eat these.... Ingredients:
4 cups sifted flour |
4 teaspoons baking powder |
1 teaspoon salt |
1 teaspoon sugar |
2/3 cup butter |
1 (12 ounce) can beer, room temp |
Directions:
1. Large bowl; sift flour, baking powder, salt, and sugar. 2. Cut in butter. 3. Add beer. 4. Mix lightly with fork until ball forms Turn dough onto generously floured surface. 5. Knead gently 5-6 times. 6. Roll dough out and cut with biscuit cutter. Place biscuits 1 in apart on ungreased baking sheet. Bake until tops are brown (15-18 minutes) at 425°F. |
